This project included a paver walkway that surrounds the house to give access to the terraced landscape beds throughout the landscape. The client had special needs that required all paved areas to be ADA compliant. Rich perennial beds are elevated to increase access and deal with an extreme elevation change that occurred when the house was cut into the hillside. Wells Rawls - Landscape Designer

This is the beginning of the paver walkway on the west side of the front door. The area is enclosed by a series of tree groupings to provide an intimate gathering area and a sense of security by the overhead foliage.

The path leads to the back patio that overlooks the creek. Raised annual beds made of wall block give a nice focal point close to seating areas. Large boulders were build right into the walls to help with grade changes. Short native fescue was planted above the terraces for low maintenance.
